In diesem Audio Essay steht die Digital History (Digitale Geschichtswissenschaften) im Fokus. Anhand von Interviews mit Wissenschaftler*innen des Deutschen Historischen Instituts Paris (DHIP) und mit Teilnehmenden der Konferenz Revolutionary, Disruptive, or Just Repeating Itself? Tracing the History of Digital History #DHIHA9 (23.–25.10.2024) wird erkundet, was Digital History ist und welche Ausprägung diese durch lokale und globale Kontexte erfährt. Dabei werden sowohl Vergangenheit als auch Zukunft der Digital History im Verhältnis zu den Digital Humanities beleuchtet.
