Melusina organizes its publications in series. A series may refer to a field of research, a topic, investigated in an interdisciplinary manner or the attempt to establish a new concept for scholarly publications. In the latter case relevant publications may examine different topics but all take the form of the series' publication concept in which they are published.
Currently 3 series are in preparation with first publications scheduled for Q1 of 2020:
- Current Trends in Luxembourg Studies
- Luxemburger Musiklexikon
- Ends of Humanities
Current Trends in Luxembourg Studies (CTLS)
ISSN: 2716-7518
Main editors: Peter Gilles, Markus Hesse, Michel Pauly, Christian Schulz,
The open-access book series Current Trends in Luxembourg Studies (CTLS) is intended as a fast publication platform for current research on Luxembourg from the perspectives of humanities and social sciences. The series publishes dissertations, monographs, edited volumes, research reports etc. It is open for contributions both from the University of Luxembourg and from external institutions.
All volumes are subject to a single-blind peer-review. Except for PhD dissertations, the manuscript will be reviewed anonymously by two peers from the respective field. In case of a PhD dissertation, only one peer will be solicited for a review. This peer will then also receive for reference the original reviews from the PhD examination. The reviewers will be selected by the editor responsible for the respective publication.
We welcome manuscripts in the domains of Humanities and Social Sciences with focus on Luxembourg and to some extent also the Greater-Region. The covered disciplines include History, Geography, Linguistics, Literature studies, Social sciences, Philosophy and cognate disciplines
